MILLSTREAM ADDS TO MANAGEMENT AND
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Toronto, Ontario -- Millstream Mines Ltd. (YLI -
TSX-V) wishes to announce that, Mr Jorma Hannila, P.Geo., has joined Millstream’s management team exploring
the Airport Property. Mr. Hannila has over 30 years
experience working for INCO around the globe.
Over the past 6 years, Mr. Hannila
was General Manager of INCO’s Turkish subsidiary, Dardanel Madencilik,
supervising the execution of exploration programs for VMS deposits in the Pontid Belt in northeastern Turkey and Pb-Zn
exploration programs throughout Turkey. Prior to that, Mr. Hannila spent 8 years as Manager of Exploration for the
Thompson Nickel Belt and NWT. At this posting, he was responsible for all
exploration work, surface and underground, in the Thompson area and with the
discovery of the Pipe Deep nickel orebody. Project
Geologist and Exploration Manager for Quebec, from 1979-1989, he headed all
surface exploration efforts and was directly responsible for the Casa Berardi gold exploration program. Prior to 1979, Jorma was project geologist for various locations
throughout North
America;
a geologist in Sudbury; and a senior geologist in Michigan, USA.
Mr. David J. McConomy,
MBA, C.A., has joined Millstream’s board of
directors subject to regulatory approval. Mr. McConomy
brings to Millstream a wealth of financial industry experience and knowledge
gained from over 30 years in the business. As President
of QC Quadrant Corporation and its affiliate company, McConomy &
Company Ltd., Mr. McConomy has offered financial management and consulting services
to a range of clients since 1984. Prior to this, David held the
position of Vice-president & CFO, SHL Systemhouse for 5 years where he had full responsibility for all the financial affairs
and administrative aspects of the Company. On top of the above current responsibilities, Mr. McConomy
also manages at present to carry out the duties of an Adjunct Professor to
Queen’s University and has in the past served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa.
