SURFACE DRILL HOLE S99-01A

MASSIVE Cu-Zn-Co SULPHIDE ZONES CONFIRM

DOWNWARD EXTENSION - SURFACE TO 3000 FT. DEPTH

7.82 meters (25.66 ft.) intersection (@ 3000ft. vert. depth) returned

assays of 1.96%Cu, 3.18%Zn, 0.085% Co and 0.53 oz Ag.

Millstream Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce the significance of the hit in its latest drill hole S99-01A on its Potter Mine Property. Consultant geologist David Gamble states:

"the significance and success of this drill hole clearly demonstrates the VMS mine hosting stratigraphic
sequence and accompanying massive sulphide mineralization is drill confirmed at 3000 ft. vertically from
surface, 1900 vertical ft. beneath the former mine workings and to date remains open down dip and down
plunge"; and
Consultant, Dr. Harold A. Gibson, associate professor, Ore Deposit Geology and Physical Volcanology, Laurentian University, Sudbury, states, "the significance of this hit can be expressed in three words -continuity, predictability
and width."
Hole S99-01A

Hole S99-01A (17+60W, 975S, Az345, dip-60) was targeted to test the downward continuity of the Cu-Zn-Co sulphide mineralized mine horizon at 1000 ft. below the previously drilled massive sulphide (MASU) intersections. The mineralized mine sequence was intersected downhole from 1131 meters (3711ft.) to the bottom of the hole at 1193 meters (3914ft.) for an overall downhole length of 62 meters (203ft.) containing four (4) massive Cu-Zn-Co sulphide intervals.

Dr. Gibson's and David Gamble's statements support Yorkton Securities previous report (May 5, 1998) "the deep drilling program at Millstream's Potter Mine represents one of the most promising current base metal exploration project in Canada. The drill intercepts beneath the former mine workings have been exceptionally high grade". Yorkton's report was based on the MASU intersections of holes S97-08A, S97-09 and S98-01. Subsequently, Millstream has successfully intersected MASU intervals in three additional deep drill holes; S98-05, S98-06 and S99-01A, which is a testament to Yorkton's forecast as illustrated in the table below.
