FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Date: Mar.10,
2005 DRILL
HOLE M003 CONFIRMS PRESENCE OF Toronto, Ontario -- Millstream Mines Ltd.’s (MLM - TSX-V) Consultant Phil Brown, P. Geo., Qualified Person (Q.P.) for the Airport Property, reports core assays of drill hole M003 confirm the presence of Sudbury Geochemical Signature and logging identifies numerous zones of Sudbury Breccia; the thickest and most consistent of which measuring 34.5 metres of core length from a section 349.20 to 383.71 metres downhole. The hole appears to be in a footwall environment, 1.2 km. east of Falconbridge’s past producer, the Norduna Mine. A strong off-hole anomaly, as stated in further detail below, was detected by an in-hole E.M. survey in this environment. During
2004, an airborne (MegaTEM II) geophysical survey
was flown over the entire property. Some shallow (less than 300 metre depths)
Electromagnetic (EM) geophysical anomalies were detected and corroborated by
the previous deep penetrating (500 to 600 metre depths) I.P. Resistivity/Chargeability
survey done in 2003. In August of 2004, Millstream with its 50:50 joint
venture partner, Crowflight Minerals Inc., increased
eastward the Airport Property land mass from 47 mining claim units to 174
contiguous claim units (see P.R. Aug. 05, 2004). Two
diamond drill holes were drilled in the Line 4S area of the property to test
the extremely high chargeability-low resistivity I.P. detected anomaly. Hole M003 (collared at 780E, Line 4+04S, Azimuth 242, Dip
–55) was completed to a borehole depth of 620 metres. An In-Hole (E.M.)
survey detected a strong Off-Hole anomaly 60 metres north of the drill hole
at 560 metres downhole depth. Hole M004 (collared
at 731E, Line 5S, Azimuth 270, Dip –71) was completed to a borehole depth of
647 metres to investigate this significant anomaly. The primary objective of hole M004 was to define the anomaly’s configuration for
the positioning of another drill hole to target the anomaly. Drill hole
AP05-M03 (collared at 600E, Line 4+20S, Azimuth 240, Dip –70), presently
being drilled, is targeted to intersect the Off-hole anomaly. Consultant
Phil A. Brown, P.Geo., Q.P., upon closer
examination of the geophysical data on the south-east section of the property
reports that a cluster of airborne EM anomalies appear to be related to
magnetic features conforming to the edge of the Sudbury Basin. In 1987, Goldteck Mines carried out line cutting and ground
surveys in this area whereby Phil Brown acted as supervising geologist. Phil
has been able to tie this work into Millstream’s present surface grid making
available results from ground magnetics, geological
mapping, soil samplings, VLF and self-potential
surveys over a large area of Millstream’s present land holdings. Phil Brown,
on the basis of this above study, recommended the drilling of 2 shallow holes
(AP05-M01 and AP05-M02) to ascertain lithology. The Airport Property is located
just outside the east rim of the Sudbury Basin on the southeast horn of the
Basin; and 1.2 Km east of Falconbridge’s past producer, the Norduna Mine, as previously stated, and 4 Km southeast of
Falconbridge’s recent (Nickel Rim South) hi-grade Cu-Ni-Co-PGM discovery (13.2
million tonnes @ 3.5% Cu, 1.7% Ni, 0.8 g/t Au, 4.1 g/t PGM) which is also located in the vicinity of a past producer, the Nickel
Rim Mine. The
principle objective of Millstream Mines Ltd. is to enhance and develop known
mineral properties to production potential. Millstream,
