MILLSTREAMS FIRST DEEP DRILL HOLE

PRELIMINARY DISCOVERY

Millstream's first deep drill hole #S97-O8A targeted to test the deep area below and beyond the past mine workings has intersected massive sulphides 92 meters (300+ feet) vertically below the bottom previously mined level.

Hole # S97-O8A (15.50W 100 S, AZ 180 deg.) between intervals 482.4m (1582.8 ft.) to 543.5m (1783.2 ft.) for 61.1 meters (200.5 ft.) intersected four (4) pronounced mineralized Cu.-Zn. sulphide zones, carrying massive sulphides.

Zone # I interval 482.4m (1582.3 ft.) to 485m (1591.3 ft.)

Zone #2 interval 487.9m (1600.8 ft.) to 494.Sm (1623.4 ft.)

Zone #3 interval 502.0m (1647 ft.) to 506.3m (1661.2 ft.)

Zone #4 interval 537.4m (1763.2 ft.) to 543.5m (1783.2 ft.)

 

The mineralized core has been split and is being sent for assay, while the hole is being surveyed by Sperry. The other half of the drill core will be available for review and inspection starting Wednesday, December 17, 1997,1:00 p.m. at 44 Victoria Street, Suite 2001, Toronto.
